community outreach

At Metro Blaze Blind Athletes of Texas, community outreach is at the heart of what we do. Through demonstrations, pop-up events, youth programs, and partnerships, we bring the excitement of adaptive sports like blind soccer and goalball to schools, organizations, and community events.

Our outreach efforts help:

  • Break down misconceptions about blindness and disability

  • Introduce adaptive sports to new athletes and families

  • Inspire youth with visual impairments to get involved in sports

  • Build stronger connections between blind athletes and the broader community

By showing what’s possible when barriers come down, we aim to foster inclusion, awareness, and empowerment one event at a time.
