Volunteer with US

At Metro Blaze, volunteers are the heartbeat of our mission. We welcome people of all backgrounds who want to support blind and visually impaired athletes in sports like blind soccer and goalball.

Ways You Can Help:

  • Drivers – Provide transportation to practices, clinics, and tournaments. Mileage driven for nonprofit work may qualify for tax deductions, and we’ll provide documentation upon request.

  • Guides – Assist blind soccer players on the field, helping them navigate, compete, and play with confidence.

  • Goalball Support – Serve as referees, goal judges, or volunteers helping with equipment and court setup.

  • Youth Clinics – Support our youngest athletes by assisting coaches, guiding players, and creating a welcoming environment.

  • Event Volunteers – Help at community events, demonstrations, or fundraisers to spread awareness about adaptive sports. This may include set up, monitoring, and tear down of our booth.

Why Volunteer?

  • Make a direct impact on athletes’ confidence, independence, and opportunities.

  • Gain hands-on experience in adaptive sports and inclusive athletics.

  • Join a supportive community passionate about breaking barriers.

  • For drivers, your time and mileage may be tax-deductible — we’ll gladly provide any needed documentation.
